The subdivision of BRIARWOOD provides new homes on 2+ acres with lake rights and beach area. Lakefront lots are available.

EAGLE LAKE features large lots, all with lake privileges on Eagle Lake and Reservoir #4. Privacy is provided by a security gate and secluded setting. Views of lake, mountains and city lights.

UNIVERSITY ACRES and SOUTH COLLEGE HEIGHTS, built in the 1950’s and 1960’s, were once on the fringe of the growth pattern of Fort Collins. Now, they are within the core of the City. They are primarily brick and frame homes, many with one-car garages, full basements and mature trees. They are close to shopping and schools, and are included in some of the city’s best family neighborhoods.

MISSION HILLS and COTTONWOOD subdivisions both include multi-level styles in addition to one- and two-story homes. Landscaping is established and these developments introduced cul-de-sac locations and wide streets. Also in these locations, one can find condominium and senior citizen facilities.

STONEHENGE is an area of contemporary multi-level designs with cedar siding and shake roofs. It is south of Edora, just east of Lemay, and south of Prospect Road. These homes were built from the late 1970’s to the late 1980’s. Stonehenge is located within minutes of schools, shopping, parks and recreation, as well as health clubs, swimming pool and ice skating year round.

INDIAN HILLS was built primarily in the 1960’s with larger, private, custom homes. It is a quiet, established neighborhood with mature landscaping on moderate-sized lots.

PARKWOOD is another well-established subdivision located east and north of Parkwood Lake at the intersection of Drake and Lemay. PARKWOOD EAST as a continuation of Parkwood, has homes built in the 1980’s of brick and frame construction. Condominiums were built in the 1980’s also.

THUNDERBIRD is a centrally located subdivision with homes built in the 1960’s through 1970’ with mostly traditional floor plans.

SCOTCH PINES offers a wide variety of homes including patio and cluster homes; apartments; and condominiums with ranch, two-story and tri-level styles built in the 1970’s and 1980’s. Single-family homes are also available in the SCOTCH PINES area, all of which is located to the west and south of the Scotch Pines Shopping Center at Drake and Lemay.

EASTBOROUGH is a family neighborhood with ranch, bi-level, two-story and tri-level homes built in the 1970’s and 1980’s. It is a well-maintained area.

LAKE SHERWOOD HOMES are contemporary in styling and include pool, clubhouse and tennis court amenities. Nearby Lake Sherwood offers boating, fishing and sailing.

Both FOX MEADOWS and MEADOWS EAST were built in the late 1970’s through the early 1980’s. The areas offer ranch, bi-level and tri-level plans with some multi-family areas.

NELSON FARM (SOUTHMOOR VILLAGE) is a very popular area with all housing styles, including many custom homes. The area was built in the 1970’s and 1980’s and has mature trees and meticulous yards.

WATERFORD is a small development of semi-custom homes and townhomes with smaller yards.

VILLAGE EAST has three basic styles: ranch, bi-level and tri-level. The area is extremely nice; it includes pool and tennis privileges and an excellent location.

The COLLINDALE area has much to offer with its proximity to the golf course, shopping and schools. It features two-story homes as well as executive four-levels and ranch-style homes. The neighborhood has great homogeneity in exterior appearance. Building was started in the early 1980’s and construction is brick and frame with shake roofs.


Major shopping centers are located throughout the east central area, including Foothills Fashion Mall, The Square, Foothills East Shopping Center and Scotch Pines Shopping Center. Numerous retail and business centers are clustered around South College Avenue.

This sector contains a wide variety of homes, environments, and lifestyles. There is a transition from quaint older bungalows, small rentals and multi-unit rental complexes to some of Fort Collins’ most prestigious homes.

SKYVIEW is really two subdivisions; one having been built in the early 1970’s and the other in the late 1970’s. Generally composed of ranch-style homes and some multi-level plans, these homes are located just west of Highway 287 (College Avenue) about two miles south of Harmony Road.

CLARENDON HILLS is a large-lot subdivision located south of Harmony Road with access from Shields Street. There is a wide selection of floor plans and styles here to satisfy almost any need. Walk-out lots back to bike path and creek.

REGENCY PARK is located just north of THE RIDGE across Harmony Road. Homes here are within easy walking distance to Johnson Elementary and Webber Junior High.


From the southwest side of Fort Collins, shopping is a quick drive to central areas such as Foothills Fashion Mall, The Square, Foothills East shopping center and other retail centers located on South College Avenue. There are also several neighborhood shopping centers in this area of town.

FAIRVIEW lies just west of the campus and was built during the 1960’s, incorporating ranch, bi-level and tri-level styles of homes.

In the 1950’s, the MILLER BROTHERS built several developments near CSU, mostly of brick and frame construction and ranch, bi-level and tri-level styles. CEDARWOOD was developed in mid 1975 by Miller Brothers.

HILL POND is a development south of CSU and east of Shields consisting of contemporary, wood-sided townhomes and condominiums with garages built in the early 1980’s.

East of HILL POND is a well-established single family home area called SHEELY ADDITION. Most of these homes are ranch-style on large lots with contemporary styling and frame construction. Additional lots were developed just south of this area along the creek. This is a nice, quiet, private area on Wallenberg Drive.

The VILLAGE WEST area was built by Bartran Homes during the 1970’s. The homes are of brick and frame construction with some shake roofs. They have matured nicely as is evident by how well the homes and landscaping have been maintained. Includes ranch, two-story and multi-level homes of a more traditional nature.

Neighboring LEXINGTON GREEN is another mature subdivision built in the early 1970’s. Landscaping is beautiful, homes are well-built of brick and frame with some shake roofs and lots of pride of ownership. Styles include ranch and multi-level plans. VILLAGE WEST and LEXINGTON GREEN share a pool and tennis courts with an association to maintain the facilities.

The BROWN FARM and DRAKE ROAD CROSSING areas were under construction for over 15 years. BROWN FARM is the largest development in Fort Collins and features a wide range of home styles and prices. It is largely a neighborhood with a variety of starter homes available including anywhere from two to four bedrooms.

MEADOWLARK is located south of CSU, south of Drake Road. Construction began in the late 1960’s and continued through the 1970’s. Three different builders were involved in the project which includes traditional ranch, two-story and multi-level floor plans of good quality construction. Most homes in MEADOWLARK were built with basements and landscaping is mature. This is a mature family neighborhood with good access to schools and shopping.

WOODWEST borders MEADOWLARK on the west. Built in the mid to late 1970’s, the construction consists mostly of brick and frame with floor plans being on the traditional side including ranch, two-story and multi-level styles. Good quality construction and appealing landscaping make WOODWEST an attractive neighborhood.

WAGON WHEEL is a newer area, built in the 1980’s and consisting of smaller houses of brick and frame construction, with attractive facades. Some larger newer homes are in the same area by Chapparal.

CASA GRANDE TOWNHOMES are also in the WAGON WHEEL area. They are designed for adult living and have two car garages attached. They are brick and frame construction.

ROSSBOROUGH is located just north of West Horsetooth Road and east of Taft Hill Road. It is a single-family home subdivision with its own park. These homes are ranch styles, two stories and tri-levels with two-car garages. Some have basements. The area is very well maintained.

CEDAR VILLAGE and KENSINGTON HEIGHTS are neighboring developments south of Drake Road and east of Taft Hill Road. They are lovely, well-cared-for neighborhoods of single family homes with all types of styles and floor plans available in frame construction. Most of these homes have basements and have been constructed from 1977 through early 1987.

SILVERPLUME is an area of single-family homes, townhomes, and condominiums. It is a unique Victorian-styled community with many quality features. The area includes all styles, typically with three to four bedrooms. Silverplume Townhomes are mostly two-stories in two- to three-bedroom plans with garages. The focal points are the Jr. Olympic pool, clubhouse and tennis courts.

THE GABLES AT SILVERPLUME is a condominium area and include one and two bedroom units. It has its own pool and tennis courts.

QUAIL HOLLOW is a new and exciting, up-scale neighborhood located southeast of the intersection of Overland Trail and Drake Road. The interesting land plan, modern design and builder variety make this a delightful neighborhood.


Drake Crossing, Raintree Village and Cedarwood Shopping Plaza are all central to this area of Fort Collins. The main shopping centers along College Avenue are also within minutes of any of these neighborhoods.

The west central area of Fort Collins contains Colorado State University. The needs of students, faculty and employees of the university have created a wide diversity of housing styles and growth patterns.

The northwest area is graced by many stately and historic turn-of-the-century homes, quaint bungalows and charming single family homes.
